Integrated Exposure Uptake Biokinetic Model
The IEUBK Model is accepted nationally to predict the blood lead of children where site-specific information is available. Independent national experts recommended that this model be used in El Paso to establish protective clean-up values rather than using the default "screening" value of lead. There are many sources of lead, and the model will determine a lower or higher clean-up value rather than relying on a general "screening" level.
